More BoBunny cards!

As promised, today I'm sharing two more cards, using the BoBunny "Heritage" collection. This time I added a little mixed media into the mix to spice things up a bit, but still stuck to the same simple design. As with yesterday's cards, I again matched the inside of the card decor to the outside.

For the first card, I added some BoBunny bronze mist and Pearlescents on the outside, and on the inside, I echoed the flower theme. (The chipboard letters are from an older BoBunny collection - "The Avenues")

For the second card, I used one of the new BoBunny stencils to add the dimensional stars with molding paste. The inside of the card echoes the white with the subtle white flowers in the top corner.

Heritage cards

Hello, I wanted to share a couple cards I made with the new BoBunny "Heritage" collection. Please check in tomorrow as I will have two more Heritage cards to share, but taking a little bit more of a mixed media approach. The cards I'm sharing today are more in a clean and simple style, and use a kraft base so that the images from the paper sort of blend into it.

These cards are posted today on BoBunny's FB and here, I can add some more detail shots and a view of the interior.

That's all for today - I hope you liked the cards! And like I said before, tune back in tomorrow for two more in this style using some other mediums for a little bit more of an artsy effect, but still in a simple style.

"Garden Journal" Cards

Hello, I wanted to share a couple cards I made using BoBunny's "Garden Journal" collection. The colors are really soft and the images delicate and pretty, so the cards were perfect for my daughter's friends' birthdays... in fact, both cards have already been given away :)

These cards were wonderfully easy to make - I simply cut out one "row" for each card from the "Notebook" sheet from the collection and folded it in half to make the card base. Then I hand-cut the printed postcards from the "Post Card" sheet and glued them inside to create the perfect space to write the message, as well as add firmness to the base. I cut the birds out of a couple of the sheets and popped them up with foam dots, and added the words and the banner from the 12x12 sticker sheet. Each card took maybe 5 minutes, 10 at most.

Here are the two cards, along with detail views and peeks inside them:

Adventure

I have a new layout to share today, using BoBunny's fabulous, fun, and vintage collection "Carnival". It has lots of vintage images from carnivals and circuses and is very funky at the same time. I thought it would be perfect for this layout of Dexter when he was 3 years old (so nearly 3 years ago now....)
I also used buttons and chipboard from the collection, and the "Adventure" is from the "Noteworthy" pack from the "Safari" collection - also a new release from BoBunny.

Paper Nest Dolls!

I have a card to share today that would be perfect for Valentine's Day. It's also on the Paper Nest Dolls blog and I'm their guest designer for the day! I can't believe it's been so many years since I first designed for them... it feels just like yesterday. I have to tell you, the stamps have only gotten more and more adorable over the years, and I was thrilled to get to color one again. The stamp is called "Heart Lollipop Avery". I used my Prismacolor pencils and the new Bo Bunny "Star-Crossed" collection.

Fairy Tale Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout using the "Star-Crossed" collection by BoBunny. The embellies are all by BoBunny as well. I thought this collection would be perfect for a fairy-tale theme (that's my kids with a couple princesses right there :)

To make the words "Tale" and "Friends", I cut the letters out of the sheet with printed letters. Since there wasn't a "D" in a perfect circle, I ended up cutting out a circle and then the letter "D" separately and putting it inside the circle - that way you can easily get any letter you need. To make the large flower, I used a die and then embellished inside with a part from a BoBunny flower.

New Year's Cards!

I have a whole blog post on the BoBunny BLOG today full of ideas on making the most of your Pearlescents, and I wanted to share a couple more cards here.

For my first card, I used Pearlescents along the edge to add a snowy feel and some definition. I also added some BoBunny flowers and buttons, and layered and distressed the paper from the Altitude collection.

To create the raised circles, I used BoBunny "Brocade" Stickable Stencil with molding paste, and misted with BoBunny "Frost" glimmer Spray.

For my second card, I again used the stencil, spray, and molding paste, as well as the pretty BoBunny flowers. Here, I used "Sugar" Pearlescents to add centers to the snowflakes and to dot the "i's". The white Pealescents looks just like tiny pearls when applied, and has the added benefit of creating a dot as big or as small as you need it to be. This card was also created with the Altitude collection.

Altered mini album in a tin!

Hello, today I'm sharing a little altered mini album I created that fits into a small round tin. I used all BoBunny products ("Rose Café" collection paper and chipboard and die cuts, crystal swirls, liquid paint, etc.). I got the various quotes from my "quotes" Pinterest board - so fun to have an excuse to browse it :)

A wintery layout

Just in time for us to get a bit of snow around here, I thought I would share a recent BoBunny LO featuring the new Altitude collection. Can I just say again how much I love it? I always love BoBunny's winter collections (who remembers "Snowy Serenade"??), but this has to be one of my favorites... and not just because they added purple :)

This is a picture of my dad and I when I was a baby. And I added some molding paste, a little misting, some distressing, and Pearlescents blended around the edge to create a bit of a frame and give it a little bit of a pearly glow.

All the supplies (paper, chipboard, washi tape, crystal swirls, etc.) are by BoBunny.

Using scraps to make cards...

And here is the last set of cards I made with the "Nest" collection. As I mentioned before, I was able to create 6 layered layouts and 13 cards using the collection (12 patterned papers and 3 sheets of vellum).

Yep, I used the smallest scraps - even the cut off strips from the sheets - like in this first card:

Pretty paper goes a long way...

Sharing a few more cards using the "Nest" collection. The first three cards are simply cut from the gorgeous paper and inked around the edges. The paper is beautiful enough to stand on its own as a card, and perfect for sticking in an envelope and mailing, since there are no added embellishments to add bulk.

The last card today is again just the awesome text paper with a simple vellum overlay attached with staples at the edges. Simple and easy, but a really cool effect! Just shows how much you can do with some gorgeous paper in a matter of minutes :)

Vellum cards

A few more cards today using "Nest" collection by Webster's Pages and BoBunny "Double Dot" cardstock. I using a sewing machine to attach the vellum.
